The second Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IEEE Sri Lanka Comsoc Chapter will be held at 5.30 p.m. on Thursday, 27th January, 2011, at the Sri Lanka Broadcasting cooperation (SLBC) premises, Independence Square, Colombo 7. Prior to the AGM, a field visit to the SLBC will be conducted. The tentative agenda for evening of 27th January is given below: 4.00 p.m. Arrival to SLBC 4.10 - 5.10 p.m. Field Visit 5.10 - 5.30 p.m. Tea & Refreshments 5.30 - 6.30 p.m. AGM Your presence for the AGM is of high importance for the progress of the chapter and is greatly appreciated. Please confirm your participation for the AGM and/or field visit by January 25 (Tuesday), with the following information: 1. your NIC Number 2. Vehicle Number (if you are planning to come by your own vehicle) Please note that we need to furnish these particulars in advance to get the permission to enter the SLBC premises. I would also like to kindly remind you to renew your IEEE and Comsoc memberships for this year (if you haven’t done so yet). Beginning from this year, you have option to get e-membership (at reduced fees).
