Phase 1 of HackElite 2.0 was successfully launched with registrations open to all undergraduates across universities, allowing teams of 3-4 members with the requirement of having at least two female participants per team. The initiative received an overwhelming response with 120+ teams and over 400 participants registering. Proposal submissions were open from 21st July to 10th August , where teams were encouraged to present innovative solutions addressing real-world problems within specified domains. After careful evaluation of the submissions, 65 teams were selected to advance to the next phase of the competition. This phase set a strong foundation for the competition, fostering creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among undergraduates.
