Description

The second phase of Envision 3.0 was successfully held at Ranthotuwila Maha Vidyalaya, Bentota , as part of the pre-undergraduate outreach series. This session was designed to raise awareness on the importance of STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and to provide valuable guidance on the academic and professional opportunities available after the Advanced Level examinations. The session introduced participants to a wide range of degree programs and career pathways in fields such as engineering, computing, medical sciences, data science, biotechnology, and emerging technologies. It highlighted how pursuing STEM-related higher education can open doors to global opportunities, innovation, and impactful careers. Moreover, emphasis was placed on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability, key skills needed to succeed in both academia and the workplace. By presenting clear insights into post-A/L options, this outreach initiative aimed to motivate participants to make informed decisions about their futures. It encouraged them to explore STEM disciplines with confidence, nurturing a generation ready to contribute to the technological and scientific progress of Sri Lanka and the world.
