The journey of MoraForesight 3.0 officially began with a vibrant and heartfelt opening ceremony, setting the stage for the three-day boot camp. The event commenced with the lighting of the traditional oil lamp, a symbolic gesture that marked the beginning of an inspiring journey filled with knowledge, collaboration, and new opportunities. The proceedings commenced with a welcome speech by Mr. Sanjula Gathsara, Chairman of the IEEE Student Branch, University of Moratuwa , who extended warm greetings to the participants. Following this, Prof. Buddhika Jayasekara, Counselor of the IEEE Student Branch, University of Moratuwa , addressed the gathering with an insightful speech, acknowledging the efforts behind the program and inspiring participants to make the most of this unique opportunity. Next, the Chief Guest of the day, Prof. S. Vasanthapriyan, Chair, IEEE Sri Lanka Section , shared his thoughts in a motivating speech, further encouraging the participants to embrace the spirit of learning and innovation throughout the boot camp. A key highlight of the ceremony was the premiere of the Foresight Intro Video, a documentary that encapsulated the journey, vision, and impact of MoraForesight over the years. This was followed by the Foresight Story, presented by Mr. Anujaya Vidmal, the Chairperson of MoraForesight 3.0 , who took the participants through the roots, milestones, and aspirations of the MoraForesight initiative. With these formalities and celebrations complete, the ceremony concluded on a high note, leaving participants inspired and ready for the exciting sessions ahead.
