Description

The registered participants of PixelWave 2025 , the Inter-University Digital Art Competition, were eligible to submit their digital artworks as the Phase 1 of the competition . Submissions were made through the official website of the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. All entries were evaluated by a panel of three expert judges . In this phase, the primary judging criterion was the originality of the submitted work . Participants were required to ensure that their creations were entirely their own; plagiarized, stock-based, or fully AI-generated entries were not accepted. After careful evaluation by the judging panel, shortlisted participants qualified for Phase 2 of the competition —a 24-hour digital art challenge based on a given theme.
