The IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka conducted an internal info session to discuss the IEEE CS SYP Nano Mentoring initiative, with the participation of both local executive committee members and international representatives. The meeting focused on familiarizing the team with the Nano Mentoring model, its benefits, and the new features introduced for 2025. Discussions were also held regarding the local execution of a Micro Mentoring event, including the agenda, venue, and application process. Highlights from the discussion include: Overview of Nano Mentoring: one-on-one style, short duration, goal-driven Benefits for mentees, mentors, and event champions New features introduced for 2025 Event format and suggested improvements Finalization of CV and Internship Preparation session as a core component The meeting concluded with clear action items and improved alignment among committee members regarding upcoming planning milestones.
