The IEEE Computer Society SBC of Wayamba University held a strategic planning meeting on 17th June 2025 to finalize the revised time plan for Innova and TechX Sri Lanka 2025. Key planning aspects such as venue logistics, collaboration opportunities, budgeting, and program coordination were discussed in detail. The main event date was also finalized during the session. Key Discussion Points: Innova Revised Time Plan: Timeline adjustments were made for both Innova and TechX based on feedback from team leads and logistical considerations. The PV (publicity and visibility) plan was discussed as part of this. Main Event Venue and Collaboration: Reviewed venue options and explored collaborations with external university teams, particularly the logistic team from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Venue & Logistics Management: Defined strategies to manage venue arrangements and ensure consistent updates from the collaborating logistic team. Main Event Date Finalized: The date for TechX Main Event was confirmed as 26th July 2025. Teamwise Task Progress: Reviewed updates from each team, clarified task ownership, and addressed any delays or uncertainties. Finance & Prize Pool: Finalized discussions on the competition prize pool, budgeting needs, and sponsorship strategy. Website Update: Checked current development status and deliverables related to the TechX website. Program Team Planning: Discussed responsibilities and structure aligned with the event schedule, focusing on coordination and program flow.
