The IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of Wayamba University conducted its scheduled Biweekly Executive Committee Meeting on 13th July 2025 to continue progress review of TechX Sri Lanka 2025. The discussion centered on the main event speaker planning, collaboration opportunities with IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka (YPSL), partnership updates, web and branding components like the event backdrop and T-shirt design. Key Discussion Points: Main Event Speakers – Emerging Technology Segment: The committee discussed speaker planning for the TechX main event, with focus on the Emerging Technology theme. Potential candidates and scheduling aspects were evaluated. Coordination with YPSL: A meeting with IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka was proposed to explore potential speaker collaborations and obtain support for outreach. Partnership Follow-ups: Updates were shared regarding current partnership and sponsorship efforts. Follow-up tasks were assigned to ensure momentum. Website Update: The TechX website’s development status was reviewed. Outstanding items were identified, with emphasis on regular tracking. Backdrop Design: Initial ideas for the event backdrop were presented. Timeline for design finalization and theme consistency were discussed. T-shirt Design: Current progress of the TechX T-shirt design was reviewed. Feedback and next steps for revision and printing were outlined.
