The IEEE Student Branch of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka successfully kicked off Frontiers in Tech 9.0 on August 14, 2025, with the first session conducted via Zoom. The speaker, Mr. Thilina Dhananjaya, Senior Software Engineer and proud alumnus of RUSL, delivered an insightful seminar focused on the foundations of .NET technologies. With over 50 participants in attendance, the session introduced students to the basics of .NET development, its relevance in modern software engineering, and real-world applications. Mr. Dhananjaya’s practical approach and clear explanations kept participants engaged throughout, bridging theory with hands-on coding practices. The interactive Q&A allowed attendees to clarify doubts and gain a deeper understanding of the framework. The first day concluded on a high note, setting the stage for the continuation of the series.
