Workshop 03 of CodeRally 6.0, titled “Conquering Test Cases in a Competitive Hackathon!” was an insightful physical workshop designed to sharpen participants’ skills in writing robust, competition-ready solutions. Conducted by Mr. Jayasanka Weerasinghe, Technical Lead at OpenMRS, the session explored why test cases matter, common pitfalls like formatting errors, runtime crashes, and time-limit issues, and how to debug effectively under pressure. Participants also learned strategies to catch hidden logic flaws, optimize code for performance, and create a personal debugging checklist to prepare for high-stakes hackathons. The workshop left attendees with practical techniques to improve accuracy, efficiency, and confidence when tackling complex challenges.
