The IEEE EMBS Student Branch Chapter of the University of Moratuwa, together with MFSTC, hosted “Frontiers: Interdisciplinary Explorations for the Future of Health” on 23rd September 2024 at the UCFM Tower. The event featured inspiring keynote talks by Prof. Dilshani Dissanayake on empowering undergraduates in integrated research and Mr. Keerthi Kodithuwakku on frugal innovation and AI-driven healthcare solutions. The session also included final-year project demonstrations by Biomedical Engineering graduates, showcasing innovative approaches to real-world medical challenges. The event successfully blended academic insight, entrepreneurial inspiration, and student innovation, creating a vibrant platform for advancing the future of healthcare.
