The second session of Gammaddata IEEE API 4.0 was organized by the IEEE Power and Energy Society Student Branch Chapter (IEEE PES SBC - UOM) , IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Student Branch Chapter (IEEE RAS SBC - UOM) , and IEEE Industry Applications Society Student Branch Chapter (IEEE IAS SBC - UOM) . It was conducted online on 5th September from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM , continuing the programme’s mission of providing valuable technical knowledge to school students across Sri Lanka. During this session, volunteers introduced HTML Basics , allowing students to understand the structure and design of simple web pages. They were also guided through browser-based games , learning how coding concepts can be applied to create interactive digital experiences. In addition, the session included Arduino simulations , where participants explored microcontroller programming in a virtual environment, enabling them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Key highlights: Two separate online sessions were conducted in Sinhala and Tamil to make the content accessible to students from all backgrounds. Students from grades 6 to 11 participated, representing districts across Sri Lanka. The session encouraged active participation by allowing students to ask questions and clarify doubts, creating an interactive and engaging learning atmosphere. This session further strengthened the foundation laid on Day 01 and prepared the students for the upcoming third day , when volunteers will visit schools to conduct hands-on project activities with the participants.
