IEEE Day 2025 Organized by: IEEE Student Branch of Uva Wellassa University The IEEE Student Branch of Uva Wellassa University proudly celebrated IEEE Day 2025 , bringing together students, members, and professionals to honor the global spirit of innovation, technology, and collaboration within IEEE. This year’s celebration featured two inspiring guest speakers: Mr. Harindu Mallawaarachchi , IEEE Day Ambassador and Vice Chair - Membership Development, Student Activities Committee, IEEE Sri Lanka Section, and Ms. Amirah Rasmin , Vice Chair - Awards & Recognition, Student Activities Committee, IEEE Sri Lanka Section. Both speakers shared their valuable insights and experiences on the power of volunteering, leadership, and professional development within IEEE. Their thoughts encouraged students to engage actively in IEEE activities and to contribute towards advancing technology for humanity. The event also included interactive discussions, knowledge sharing, and a special session to strengthen the unity among IEEE members at Uva Wellassa University. IEEE Day 2025 marked another milestone for the branch, celebrating teamwork, innovation, and the global IEEE vision that connects thousands of professionals and students across the world.
