IEEE Day 2025 at SLIIT was a flagship celebration organized by the IEEE Student Branch in collaboration with its five technical chapters CS, PES, RAS, IAS, EMBS, and the WIE Affinity Group. The event brought together undergraduates, young professionals, and tech enthusiasts to celebrate innovation, collaboration, and the global IEEE community. Held on 23rd October 2025 , the event took place from 1.30 PM to 5.30 PM on the 14th Floor of the New Building at SLIIT . It featured guest speakers, chapter-led activities, interactive games, quizzes, and awareness sessions about IEEE’s mission, opportunities, and student membership benefits. With a target audience of over 150 in-person participants and a digital reach of 3000+ , IEEE Day 2025 aimed to: Raise awareness of IEEE and its initiatives Highlight member benefits and leadership opportunities Foster student engagement and industry collaboration Promote technical skills and innovation Celebrate teamwork within the IEEE community The event also provided a platform for networking, sponsorship visibility, and student-industry interaction, making IEEE Day the largest IEEE event of the year at SLIIT .
