IEEE Xtreme Ignite 1.0 – Coding Competition The IEEE Xtreme Ignite 1.0 – Coding Competition was successfully organized on 9th October 2025 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the University of Vocational Technology, using Computer Labs 6 and 7. The event was conducted as a pre-Xtreme coding competition, specially arranged to prepare students for IEEE Xtreme 19.0. More than 100 participants, grouped into 37 teams, took part in this exciting competition. It was the first-ever coding competition held at the university, making it a remarkable milestone for both students and organizers. The main objective of the competition was to provide participants with a real-time experience of how an IEEE Xtreme coding contest operates. Through this event, students were able to, • Understand the competition process • Improve their problem-solving skills • And learn effective time management during coding challenges. The participants showcased great enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the event. At the end of the competition, certificates were awarded to the winners in recognition of their performance and effort. The event concluded on a positive note with encouraging feedback from participants, who appreciated the opportunity to gain practical experience and prepare for upcoming challenges like IEEE Xtreme 19.0. IEEE Xtreme Ignite 1.0 – Coding Competition was organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Vocational Technology, and it served as an inspiring and educational initiative to strengthen students’ interest and readiness for global coding competitions.
