Research Unplugged was a technical session on signal processing with efficient compute for transmit and receive environments , organized by the IEEE Student Branch of CINEC Campus and conducted by Prof. Arjuna Madanayake , Associate Professor at Florida International University . The event was held on the 6th of August 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. , with the participation of around 10 students . The session focused on advanced concepts in signal processing , emphasizing computational efficiency and real-world applications in modern communication systems . Prof. Madanayake shared his expertise on optimizing signal processing architectures for transmit and receive operations, highlighting recent innovations and research trends in the field.
