Road to Xtreme 1.0: Competitive Programming & the Importance of DSA was an engaging technical session organized by the IEEE Student Branch of CINEC Campus to prepare students for IEEEXtreme 19.0 . The event was held on October 4th, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. via Microsoft Teams , with the participation of enthusiastic students eager to enhance their coding skills. The session was conducted by Mr. Thilan Dissanayake , Security Engineer at WSO2 , who shared his expertise on competitive programming, data structures, and algorithms (DSA) . He provided valuable insights into effective problem-solving techniques, performance optimization, and strategies to excel in coding competitions like IEEEXtreme.
