Road to Xtreme 1.1: Machine Learning in Algorithm Improvement and Problem-Solving was an insightful technical session organized by the IEEE Student Branch of CINEC Campus as part of the Road to Xtreme series in preparation for IEEEXtreme 19.0 . The session was conducted by Mr. Vidura Wijekoon , Senior AI/ML Engineer and Line Manager at Virtusa , who shared his extensive experience in integrating machine learning concepts into traditional computational problem-solving frameworks . He discussed practical approaches to improving algorithmic performance, pattern recognition, and data-driven decision-making, while also highlighting real-world applications in AI-powered systems.
