TensorForge 2025 (AI Buildathon) is an inter-university competition designed to challenge undergraduates to move beyond prototype development and instead create scalable, deployable, and responsible AI systems. Unlike conventional hackathons, TensorForge emphasizes the complete AI lifecycle from data handling and model development to deployment, monitoring, and governance. Participants will be encouraged to integrate MLOps practices, focus on reproducibility, and adhere to responsible AI principles. The Competition was held in three stages, as Stage 1: Online Quiz - 6th October 2025 Stage 2: 24 hour Buildathon - 9th October 2025 Stage 3: The final round (Live Judging on premises) - 17th October 2025 Theme: “From Blueprint to Reality: Building Responsible and Scalable AI Systems.” Stage 1: Online Quiz | October 6th 2025 Objective: Screen teams for foundational knowledge in AI, ML, and basic MLOps principles. Format : Online, proctored. 50 questions to be completed in a 1-hour session. Content : Multiple-choice and short-answer questions on ML concepts, data preprocessing, model types, and fundamental MLOps tools. Results : Announced on October 7, top-performing teams advance to Stage 2.
