IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire conducted the Career Compass Session – Speaker Training Program on 22nd April 2025, with the aim of empowering and equipping provincial speakers for the upcoming Career Compass sessions. The online session was a necessary orientation and capacity-building exercise for volunteers who will be delivering career guidance for students across the country. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Rushdi Hadhi, Operations Director of Jondaddy.lk and former Head of Career Guidance of NSBM Green University. Drawing from his extensive background in career development and his enriching experience as a Sri Lanka Inspire Volunteer, Mr. Rushdi Hadhi apprised the audience of actionable tips on how to involve students in an effective way, deliver motivational content, and tailor sessions to regional contexts. The objective of the training was to secure a clear understanding of the Career Compass model, build confidence in the presenters, and ensure consistency and quality of all the provincial sessions. Through interactive discussions and hands-on coaching, the participants were equipped with the tools necessary to deliver impactful and motivational sessions. The session concluded on a high note, with members enriched by the speaker's experience and the shared vision of empowering future-ready youth across Sri Lanka.
