The IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire Career Compass Session for the Northern province was held successfully on June 25, 2025, at the Tech lecture hall 1of University of Vavuniya, Sri Lanka, starting at 12.30 p.m. The event drew around 150 students and teachers from various schools in the region, including Rambaikulam School, Al Alsha School and Vavniya Muslim College The session aimed to inspire and educate students by providing valuable insights into higher education and a wide range of career opportunities. Through a combination of career guidance talks, motivational segments, and interactive Q&A sessions, the event created a comprehensive learning experience. Students showed enthusiastic participation throughout the day, especially during the Q&A sessions, where they raised insightful questions about their academic and career paths. These discussions helped dispel common misconceptions and encouraged students to think critically about their futures. Teachers also expressed appreciation for the event, highlighting its relevance and effectiveness in helping guide students academically and professionally.
