As part of an ongoing effort to foster entrepreneurial thinking and professional growth among young professionals, IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka hosted a hybrid session titled “How to Find an Investable Business Idea” on 3rd May 2025. This event was designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts with the insights needed to identify business ideas with strong investor appeal and market potential. The session featured an inspiring keynote by Mr. Rajendra Theagarajah, Chairman Emeritus of EngenuityAI, who brought a wealth of experience in business leadership and innovation strategy. He guided the participants through the critical process of discovering, evaluating, and refining business ideas that attract investment and drive long-term success. The session also included a structured walkthrough of real-world examples and practical tips, making it both engaging and actionable. Participants were actively involved throughout the session via live Q&A, open discussions, and scenario-based questions posed by the speaker. The interactive nature of the session encouraged participants to think critically and share their own entrepreneurial ideas, creating a dynamic and enthusiastic learning environment.
