The IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire initiative proudly launched the "Niwaradi Dishanthiya" virtual session series on 10th May 2025 at 7:30 PM, with the aim of guiding students who have recently completed their G.C.E. Ordinary Level examinations and are awaiting results. This timely and impactful series was designed to support these students in one of the most crucial phases of their academic journey—Advanced Level stream and subject selection. Targeting students across the island, Niwaradi Dishanthiya focused on providing in-depth insights into the five main A/L streams: Biological Science, Physical Science, Commerce, Arts, and Technology. The objective was to help students make informed decisions aligned with their personal interests, academic strengths, and future career aspirations. The sessions were conducted virtually by a panel of experts in the respective fields, ensuring that participants received accurate and practical guidance based on real-world experience. Each session included engaging discussions, personalized advice, and a vibrant Q&A segment, where enthusiastic participants posed thoughtful questions, reflecting their eagerness to shape a promising future. The series concluded successfully, leaving students with greater clarity and confidence as they prepare to take their next step in education and career planning.
