The Industry Connect Session with Kelanitissa Combined Cycle Power Station, organized by IEEE StudPro 8.0, is a unique opportunity for undergraduates from universities across Sri Lanka to gain first-hand exposure to one of the country’s most vital power generation facilities. This visit will allow 50 selected students to explore the operations of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), understand the role of combined cycle technology in ensuring national energy security, and interact with industry professionals to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world engineering practices. Through this initiative, StudPro 8.0 continues its mission of empowering the next generation of engineers with industry insights, career guidance, and skill-building opportunities.
