Wisdom Waves 1.0 The IEEE WIE Affinity Group at the University of Ruhuna in collaboration with other IEEE chapters proposes, "Wisdom Waves" is an engaging online webinar series designed to foster insightful discussions on various topics that inspire and educate participants. This initiative fosters chapter collaboration through partnerships and networking while enabling knowledge sharing between graduates, final-year undergraduates and other undergraduate students for mentorship and growth. By addressing key issues and providing valuable guidance, "Wisdom Waves" seeks to create an enriching learning experience for attendees from diverse backgrounds. Each session will highlight a different subject, led by a knowledgeable speaker, to provide a well-rounded learning experience. Session 06: The Journey from Code to Production On 17th November 2025, Wisdom Waves 2025 hosted an insightful session aimed at guiding participants through the journey from software development to real-world deployment. The webinar focused on key concepts including version control, build processes, containerization with Docker, deployment environments, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring post-deployment.
