The IEEE Day Celebration 2025 – Phase 2: Celebration Gathering, organized by the IEEE Uva Wellassa University Student Branch, was held on 24th October 2025 from 4.30 p.m. onwards. This in-person gathering created an engaging and memorable space for members to celebrate the spirit of IEEE Day, strengthen camaraderie, and reflect on the collective achievements of the student branch throughout the year. The event brought together the Executive Committee and active members for an evening of fellowship, informal discussions, and appreciation of the volunteer community. The celebration began with a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony, commemorating IEEE Day and honoring the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of volunteers who contributed to the success of the branch’s initiatives. Following the ceremony, members participated in a relaxed networking and fellowship session, providing opportunities to build stronger interpersonal connections, share experiences, and encourage cross-collaboration among committees. The gathering also included a moment of reflection, where participants revisited the milestones and accomplishments of the year, acknowledging the collective efforts that upheld IEEE’s mission of advancing technology for humanity. Overall, Phase 2 provided a warm and inspiring atmosphere that strengthened the unity of the student branch and reinforced a renewed sense of motivation and enthusiasm for future projects and volunteer engagement
