Workshop 1 of SDG Sprints focused on two critical Sustainable Development Goals: Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3) and Quality Education (SDG 4). Held at NIBM City University, the workshop brought together participants, experts, and community-focused organizations to discuss prevailing challenges in Sri Lanka’s health and education sectors. Mr. Keerthi Kodithuwakku of Jendo Innovations shared insights on digital health innovations, while Mr. Kalimuthu Kulendra from Room to Read highlighted issues in educational access and technology-enabled learning. The workshop provided participants with real-world context, case studies, and foundational knowledge to prepare for community research and problem identification in the next phase of SDG Sprints.
