The second workshop of the AlgoArena: Mobile App Development Competition, organized by the Leo Club of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in partnership with the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was held on 18th October 2025 at 8:00 p.m. The session was conducted by Mr. Kushan Bhareti , Co-Founder of Infowaves & Articom.io and Visiting Lecturer at IIT. This workshop focused on UI/UX principles and mobile app design best practices , providing participants with essential insights into creating intuitive, user-centered, and visually appealing application interfaces. Mr. Bhareti covered layout structuring, user flow optimization, design consistency, and modern mobile design standards, helping participants refine the front-end aspects of their competition projects. As the second installment in the AlgoArena workshop series, this session strengthened participants’ design and usability knowledge, ensuring they are well-equipped to build polished, industry-aligned mobile applications for the competition.
