Description
No events were conducted during October due to the examination period. However, several discussions and planning activities took place regarding upcoming initiatives. The WIE Affinity Group has begun preparations for WiSTEM, an outreach program conducted in collaboration with IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka, aimed at teaching school students across Sri Lanka and inspiring young girls to pursue STEM fields. Additionally, the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter is preparing for the Lumora – CS Anniversary Celebration, with the organizing team finalizing the initial arrangements. Overall, October was a planning-focused month, dedicated to setting the foundation for impactful events in the months ahead.
