AdaptIQ - Regional Workshop 2

September 20, 2025 · 4:30 AM - 7:30 AM @ IIT Regional Centre - Kurunegala, Kurunegala, 109

Description

The second regional workshop of AdaptIQ continued the momentum with an engaging session led by Ms. Uvini Mataraarachchi, a senior business analyst from Zone 247 and Ms. Sheron Kitchilan, a senior software engineer from TIQRI. Similar to the first workshop, the program covered the two core themes that formed the foundation of AdaptIQ. In the “Idea to Concept” segment, Ms. Uvini guided students through recognizing real-world issues, understanding stakeholder needs, and refining initial ideas into structured solution concepts. Following this, Ms. Sheron Kitchilan delivered the “Concept to Prototype” session, introducing participants to practical methods of transforming concepts into functional prototypes through tools, workflows, and early validation techniques. This workshop further strengthened participants’ ability to innovate while adjusting to challenges, preparing them for the competition rounds ahead.
