The first regional workshop of AdaptIQ was held in Galle, marking a significant step in taking the initiative beyond Colombo. This workshop was organized for both pre-university and undergratuate students. The session featured two distinguished speakers: Ms. Univi Mataraarachchi from Zone 24x7 and Mr. Sandul Renugja from Sysco Labs. Ms. Mataraarachchi, a senior business analyst led the segment on “Idea to Concept,” guiding participants on how to understand problems, refine ideas, and convert them into meaningful solution outlines. This was followed by Mr. Renugja’s session, who is a software engineer, on “Concept to Prototype,” where he demonstrated how students could transform structured concepts into functional prototypes using practical tools and industry-ready approaches. The workshop offered students valuable exposure and set the foundation for the phases that followed.
