The first round of AdaptIQ began with a fast-paced six-hour challenge , designed to evaluate how quickly participants could analyze a problem and convert their ideas into a structured solution. At the start of the competition, teams were provided with a comprehensive guideline booklet containing three problem statements , from which they had to choose one to work on. Using the information provided, participants were required to understand the context, define the scope of their solution, and outline a clear approach. By the end of the six hours, each team submitted a detailed project proposal along with a presentation pitch deck , demonstrating their initial concept, feasibility, and intended direction. This phase served as the foundation for selecting the top ten teams who progressed to the Grand Finale.
