With over 200 participants, 20+ innovative projects, and more than 1,500 volunteer hours, Code With WIE 2025 aimed to, - Strengthen the connection between education and industry needs. - Increase female participation in STEM - Foster entrepreneurial mindsets - Nurture the next generation of technology leaders who can create meaningful impact in their communities. Theme: Empowering Future Through Innovations • Innovative Solution for Healthcare • Innovative Solution for Education • Innovative Solution for Elderly and Child Care • Innovative Solution for Agriculture • Innovative Solution for Tourism • Any other innovative solution Implementation Phase 1: Awareness & Outreach • Launch the competition and announce the theme. • Promote the event through IEEE WIE networks, universities, and social media. • Conduct an online awareness session to explain guidelines and expectations. • Open registrations and support participants with inquiries. Phase 2: Training & Mentorship • Organize a series of technical and non-technical workshops (ideation, product-market fit, UI/UX, etc.). • Assign dedicated mentors to each team for continuous guidance and conduct bi-weekly mentoring sessions starting from July. Phase 3: Solution Development • Support teams in developing prototypes addressing real-world challenges. Phase 4: Evaluation & Final Competition • Host the qualifier round to shortlist top teams. • Organize the final pitch competition with expert judges. • Conduct project presentations and score based on criteria. • Award winners with cash prizes, certificates, and recognition. Results and Outcomes ● The program achieved remarkable participation, with 100 teams initially registered, reflecting high enthusiasm for STEM innovation. ● Through sustained engagement via workshops, mentoring, and project development, 42 teams progressed to the qualifier round, demonstrating strong commitment and growth. ● From these, the top 12 teams were selected for the final competition, where they presented fully developed, high-impact solutions to an expert judging panel. ● Among the finalists, two outstanding projects were specially recognized for their exceptional social impact(USD 200), addressing critical community challenges and demonstrating strong potential for real-world implementation. ● Winners were awarded cash prizes of USD 500 (1st Place), USD 350 (2nd Place), and USD 250 (3rd Place), in addition to several special category prizes. ● All qualifying and finalist teams received certificates, swags, and recognition tokens, supported by sponsors and partners. ● Active engagement was maintained throughout the program via hands-on workshops, bi-weekly mentoring sessions, and structured evaluations, ensuring continuous participant involvement from registration to the final event.
