On November 8, 2025, the IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire Career Compass-Uva Province Session was place at Uva Wellassa University's Faculty of Technology Auditorium. 198 students from Badulla Central College, Densil Kobbekaduwa Maha Vidyalaya, Gonagala Maha Vidyalaya, Passara Gamunu Maha Vidyalaya, Udayaraja Maha Vidyalaya, and Viharamahadevi Girls' High School participated in the activity, which started at 9.00 in the morning. This project was a part of the continuous effort of the IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire program to give schoolchildren, especially those in Grades 10 and 11, academic and career support as they are ready to make important decisions about their education and careers. Undergraduates from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka conducted lively and participatory conversations during the event, which adhered to the recognizable Career Compass structure. Higher education paths, choosing subjects for Advanced Level coursework, and matching personal goals with future employment prospects were the main topics of the first section. Students had the chance to ask questions and explore academic and professional options during the second part, which focused on motivation, goal-setting, and the development of future-ready abilities. Both professors and students gave the event very favorable reviews, praising the usefulness and relevancy of the advice given. All attendees found the event, which was organized by the IEEE Student Branch of Uva Wellassa University under the direction of IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire, to be both motivating and educational.
