NEXORA 2025 was a Volunteer Awareness Session collaboratively organized by the IEEE Student Branch, IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group, and IEEE Computer Society (CS) Student Branch Chapter of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The primary purpose of the event was to introduce undergraduate students to the value of volunteering and the diverse opportunities available through IEEE. The session focused on raising awareness about IEEE membership, leadership development, professional growth, and community engagement. It aimed to motivate first-year and second-year undergraduates to actively participate in IEEE activities and become committed volunteers. Through structured presentations, guest speaker sessions, volunteer experience sharing, and interactive segments, participants gained insight into how IEEE volunteering enhances technical skills, communication abilities, teamwork, and leadership qualities.
