Reboot 1.0 – Phase 2 Reboot 1.0 – Phase 2, organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was held at the Faculty of Technology, USJ. The event served as a comprehensive awareness session introducing students to IEEE, its chapters, membership benefits, and professional development opportunities. Chapter representatives delivered insightful presentations and encouraged students to join their respective chapters. Guest speaker Mr. Peshan Sampath and invited guest Ms. Prabhani Liyanage added significant value to the event with their expertise. The musical entertainment item further energized the audience. Interactive Q&A sessions rewarded students with chapter T-shirts and other gifts. The winner of the Pac-Man game received a $14 IEEE membership. The event successfully strengthened student collaboration and communication, giving new undergraduates a strong understanding of IEEE. The event successfully attracted more than 200 attendees, comprising 170 participants and 32 OC members.
