IEEE Day Celebration USJ – 2025 IEEE Day Celebration USJ – 2025, organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was a dynamic and engaging session held on 15th November, at the Forestry Auditorium with the participation of over 50 active IEEE members. The event held parallel to the global IEEE Day celebration and aimed to provide an exclusive opportunity to active IEEE members to engage and celebrate. This event also marks the inaugural IEEE Day celebration at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The celebration was designed to foster a sense of community, enhance technical knowledge, and provide a platform for student interaction. Unlike traditional academic seminars, this event was curated with a unique focus on entertainment and engagement, balancing educational sessions with interactive activities to celebrate the true spirit of the global IEEE community.Date: 15th November, 2025 Time: 09:00 am Onwards Venue: Forestry Auditorium, University of Sri Jayewardenepura Objectives • Organize an IEEE Day celebration parallel to the global IEEE Day celebration. • Provide an exclusive opportunity for the active IEEE members of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura to gather and celebrate the spirit of IEEE. • To provide attendees with exposure to emerging technologies and industry trends through a dedicated knowledge-sharing session on Artificial Intelligence. • To empower members to take initiative and understand their potential growth paths within the organization through the “Lead Yourself at IEEE” session. • To build a strong sense of community among members through interactive engagement, including the game sessions and entertainment items.
