Description

Tutorial 2 of ICAIDS 2025 focuses on the role of machine learning in intelligent engineering systems, highlighting real-world applications in robotics, wireless communication, and power systems. This tutorial provides participants with practical insights into how machine learning techniques are applied to solve complex engineering challenges such as optimization, prediction, control, and system intelligence. The session will be delivered by academic experts from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Peradeniya, sharing research-driven perspectives and applied methodologies across multiple engineering domains. The tutorial will be conducted online on 29 October 2025 from 9.00 AM (IST). Participants who attend the tutorial will receive an official certificate of participation. Organized by South Eastern University of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (Eastern Chapter) and sponsored by IEEE WIE SEUSL Affinity Group, IEEE SEUSL Student Branch, and the Computer Science Society.
