ශිල්පසවිය was a special Career Guidance and Motivation Program successfully organized by the IEEE Women in Engineering Student Branch Affinity Group of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka with the aim of empowering school students to identify their strengths, explore career pathways, and build confidence for their future success. The event was held on 24th September 2025, starting from 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., at Rahula Maha Vidyalaya, Welipannagahamulla. A total of 10 undergraduate volunteers from Wayamba University actively participated in organizing and conducting the program. The audience consisted of 81 school students from Grades 9, 10, and 11, who enthusiastically engaged throughout the session. The program was designed to be both informative and engaging. Students were guided through discussions on career awareness, goal setting, and the importance of education in shaping a successful future. To enhance interaction and participation, an interactive game session and a quiz competition were conducted, encouraging teamwork, critical thinking, and active involvement. The winners of the games and quizzes were rewarded with gifts, further motivating the students and creating an enjoyable learning atmosphere. Overall, ශිල්පසවිය served as a meaningful platform to inspire young minds, provide clarity on future career opportunities, and foster motivation among school students. The session concluded successfully with positive feedback from both students and teachers, highlighting the impact of the initiative in guiding students toward brighter and more confident futures.
