The IEEE Communications Society Student Branch Chapter of the University of Peradeniya successfully organized a technical session titled “6G Meets AI: Future of Mobile Intelligence” , featuring Prof. Arumugam Nallanathan from Queen Mary University of London . Held on 14 July 2025 at the Smart Study Area , the session provided valuable insights into the convergence of 6G wireless technologies and Large AI Models . The discussion explored future mobile intelligence, emerging research directions, and real-world challenges, fostering active engagement among students and academic staff. The event enhanced participants’ understanding of next-generation wireless communication systems and their integration with artificial intelligence.
