The IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire Career Compass – North Western Provincial Session was successfully held on 24th October 2025 from 8:30 AM onwards at Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. The event was organized by the IEEE Student Branch of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, in collaboration with IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire under IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka, and was powered by IFS. A total of 130 school students from five schools near Kuliyapitiya participated in the program. The session commenced with the traditional oil lamp lighting ceremony, followed by the address of the Chief Guest, IEEE Student Branch Counsellor Mr. V. G. T. N. Vidanagama, who shared valuable insights and encouragement with the participants. The program included two Career Compass sessions along with a motivational speech, conducted in an engaging and interactive manner. Activities such as quiz games, singing sessions, and interactive discussions were incorporated to maintain student enthusiasm and participation. Winners of the activities were awarded gift vouchers, and each participating school received the IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire Career Compass booklet. The students actively engaged throughout the sessions, and many expressed their appreciation and gratitude at the conclusion of the event. The program successfully achieved its objective of inspiring school students and guiding them toward informed and confident career decisions.
