The Professional Development Session , organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Kelaniya in collaboration with IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka , was conducted to support undergraduates in advancing their career readiness and professional growth. The session provided participants with valuable exposure to industry insights, practical career guidance, and real-world experiences shared by experienced professionals. Held on 2nd November 2025 via the Zoom platform from 7.00 PM onwards , the session focused on enhancing essential skills such as career planning, professional mindset development, and industry awareness. Participants gained the opportunity to engage with experts, explore collaborative possibilities with IEEE Young Professionals, and understand how to effectively apply their academic knowledge in real-world contexts. Overall, the session played a significant role in inspiring students to take meaningful steps toward their professional journeys, fostering growth, collaboration, and long-term career success.
