The IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka held an Executive Committee meeting on 11th May 2025 at 4 pm at the Student Centre to organize and plan the WiSTEM event, a STEM awareness session aimed at school students. During the meeting, the committee finalized the date and selected the school for conducting the awareness session. Detailed discussions were held on the procedure and implementation plan for the event, and responsibilities were assigned to each committee member to ensure effective coordination. In addition to event planning, the committee discussed future events and strategic plans of the WIE Affinity Group. The meeting also provided a platform to address and resolve conflicts and challenges among members, promoting teamwork and smooth collaboration for upcoming activities.
