Description
The IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka (INSL) 2025 – North Central Provincial Competition was successfully held on 22nd November 2025 from 9:30 AM onwards via the Zoom online platform, with the participation of approximately 18 registered teams from the province. The competition served as a dynamic platform for undergraduate teams to present innovative, technology-driven, and business-oriented ideas aimed at solving real-world challenges. The judging panel comprised Mrs. A.K.N.L. Aththanagoda from the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Mr. Husni Mohamed from the Faculty of Technology, whose expertise ensured a fair and insightful evaluation process. At the conclusion of the competition, Team TechSnatchers secured First Place for their exceptional innovation and teamwork. Team Intellects emerged as the First Runner-Up, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, while Team Landline.lk achieved Third Place. Overall, the event successfully fostered entrepreneurship, creativity, and a competitive spirit, contributing significantly to the development of innovative thinking and startup-oriented mindsets among participants.
