The IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka – SLIIT Provincial Competition 2025 was successfully held on 23rd October 2025 at SLIIT , serving as a meaningful platform for young innovators to present and pitch their innovative ideas. The competition was organized by IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka and was hosted by the IEEE Student Branch of SLIIT . The event brought together enthusiastic student innovators from the province, fostering creativity, entrepreneurship, and technological innovation. Participants showcased their pitch decks before a distinguished panel of judges, who evaluated the projects based on innovation, feasibility, impact, and presentation quality. The competition was judged by: Ms. Thanushika Jathunga Mr. Nisal Weerasinghe Following a competitive evaluation process, the winners of the Provincial Competition were announced as follows: 1st Place: NovA 2nd Place: Vision X 3rd Place: RPW The event was supported by a strong network of national, investment, ecosystem, technical, knowledge, strategic, mentoring, and regional partners, contributing significantly to the success of the competition. Overall, the IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka – SLIIT Provincial Competition 2025 successfully empowered young innovators, encouraged entrepreneurial thinking, and strengthened the innovation ecosystem within the student community.
