IoTrix is a flagship workshop series organized by the IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) of the IEEE Student Branch, University of Ruhuna. The Workshop – IoT Product & PCB Design was conducted to introduce engineering undergraduates to the practical aspects of IoT product development, embedded systems, and PCB design. The session provided students with insights into RF and embedded engineering, device integration, and design considerations for modern IoT systems. . Event Objectives and Goals • Introduce students to the fundamentals of IoT product and PCB design • Provide exposure to RF and embedded engineering concepts in IoT • Inspire undergraduates to explore IoT-based projects and research • Strengthen understanding of device integration, embedded systems, and hardware design • Connect students with industry professionals for knowledge sharing • Encourage participation in hands-on IoT hardware design sessions and advanced IoTrix workshops.
