The Industrial & Academic Career Path Session of CareerX 2026, organized by the IEEE Professional Communication Student Branch Chapter of the University of Moratuwa under the guidance of IEEE, aims to provide undergraduates with comprehensive insights into both academic advancement and industrial career opportunities. The session will feature distinguished professionals and academics who will share their experiences, industry expectations, research pathways, and practical guidance to support students in making well-informed career decisions. Empowered by the generous support of the Official Main Sponsor, SLT-MOBITEL, CareerX 2026 continues its mission of bridging the gap between academia and industry while equipping students with the knowledge, confidence, and professional readiness required for the evolving world of work.
