The IEEE Student Branch of NIBM successfully held its Annual General Meeting 2026 on 8th February 2026 at NIBM, Colombo 07, commencing at 4.30 PM. The event brought together students, IEEE members, and branch representatives for an evening of reflection and leadership transition. The outgoing Executive Committee presented their annual report, covering key achievements, events, and financials from their term. The newly appointed Executive Committee was then formally welcomed, sharing their plans for the year ahead and calling on members for their fullest support and engagement. The event was also graced by the Director of SOCE as the Guest of Honor. The AGM was further honored by two distinguished guest speakers Mr. Yohan Joseph, Student Activities Committee Chair of IEEE Sri Lanka, and Mr. Uvindu Kodikara, Section Student Representative of IEEE Sri Lanka, both of whom delivered inspiring addresses to the attendees. The Annual General Meeting 2026 concluded on a positive note, with the student community inspired and ready to move forward into the next term.
