The IEEE Student Branch of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka successfully conducted its Annual General Meeting 2026 on February 14, 2026, at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Management Studies as a physical event. The meeting brought together Student Branch members, the Carrier Guidance Unit Counselor, past Executive Committee members and to reflect on the achievements of the previous term and plan for the future. The AGM commenced with the welcome address and approval of the previous meeting minutes and the financial report for the 2024/2025 term. These sessions provided members with a comprehensive overview of the branch’s activities, accomplishments and financial progress over the past year. A key highlight of the event was the appointment of the new Executive Committee and team leads for the 2025/2026 term. The newly appointed Chairperson shared his vision and goals for the upcoming year, emphasizing continued growth, collaboration and enhanced member engagement within the Student Branch. An award ceremony was also held to recognize and appreciate the dedication and outstanding contributions of members during the 2024/2025 term. Certificates were presented to former Executive Committee members, outstanding team leaders and members who demonstrated exceptional performance and contribution, celebrating their commitment to the success of the branch. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a successful leadership transition and setting a strong foundation for the IEEE Student Branch of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka for the year ahead.
