The program commenced with Session 1, delivered by Shevaan, who provided an engaging introduction to Creative Software, highlighting the company’s core operations, innovative projects, industry exposure opportunities, company trips, and impactful community initiatives. This was followed by Session 2, conducted by Nuwan Gurusinghe, Director of Software Engineering at Creative Software, on the topic “How to Stay Competitive in an AI-Driven World.” He emphasised the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, strong technical foundations, and the ability to integrate AI tools effectively in modern software development. The program then moved into Session 3, an insightful panel discussion featuring Damitha Liyanage, Software Engineering Director, along with Leyana Dabara, representing the intern level, and Indunil, representing the junior level. The panel provided a comprehensive understanding of the different phases of life within a company, sharing real experiences about career progression, workplace expectations, and professional growth. The event concluded with a final session by Asma Cader on self-branding, where she highlighted the importance of building a strong personal brand, maintaining a professional presence, and strategically positioning oneself for long-term career success in the competitive tech industry.
